Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire

Dear Editor

I am one of the first responder to come and help put the fire out. One thing that I saw was the horrific part when the women was jumping off the 9^th and above floors just to escape the fire. That is one reason why I am writing this letter, because changes need to be made now. The changes that I want is making companies and factories be required to have a fire safety certified, so nothing like this ever happens again. The firemen are the ones who need to make sure that building can be safe to work in. I will talk to my fellow firemen to see what they think we should do, but I have a good idea what you need to change. All of the factories that need to be inspected for safety and all other kind of safety. So when you talk about changing make sure it is a complete overall of change.
