Women's Rights

Dear Editor,

I am writing this post with a concern about women’s rights.  On a daily basis, many women around the world are highly mistreated or abused with no means of protection.  They are at times sexually abused and raped by men.  They are involuntarily trafficked and sold as prostitutes from a young age.  These women are helpless and are unable to speak their minds because of fear.  Fear of not only men but also fear of how society will perceive them as “raped women”.  In many of these countries, women are not allowed to have a say in their societies, communities, households, or lives.  These women are basically owned from birth.  Life on this earth is unfair for women and it should not be that way.  In my opinion, a woman is a prized possession.  Without a woman a man is nothing.  We would not have been here if Jesus would have only put Adam on earth alone without Eve.  Women should have the same rights as men.

Women Rights.

Dear Editer

My name is Angel wilson and in my english class we are learning about how women discrimination a rights. When I looked over the videos it made me upset on how women get treated around this world. Like the Video on how the women and man at the car shop was buying a car and the sales man made it seem like the women was stupid and did not know what he was talking about. She asked if she can drive the car aroundand he did not even let her, he gave her a high price on a very low price looking car. When a different man came in to buy the same car the sales man gave that man a low price for that same car, he even let the man drive the car by himself. I think that its disrespectful and rude to us women. I also seen a commercial on how women gets treated on a job or even in a office. On that commercial it showed how if you dress with tight clothes and in a say '' slutty '' you will get treated right. But if you dont dress like a normal girl does they wont treat you the same, I think that those things are unacceptable for any person its rude dissrespectful and needs to stop..

Discrimination

Dear Editor;

Through out the world women’s rights are been violated each day. Some People may think all of it has been left behind in the past, but in many places things haven’t changed. Thing are getting better in United States, but in other places things just don’t change. Many men think they are superior in everyway, but women have proofed over and over again that they can get the job done just as well, and at times even better. Every year women proof they can do anything even get a shot to become president. There will always be discrimination. People will always think different from other people. I think its wrong not giving the same rights to everyone, but others may think it is just a waste of time. Women’s rights aren’t the only rights been violated, there is still some discrimination against African American. There is also discrimination to Latinos. Why people may ask? The reason is the way people think. A law can’t change a person point of view. Truth is there will always be discrimination, is just a way of life, whether it’s a men or women people will get discriminated one way or another.

Sincerely

Jose Guerrero

Dear Editor,
I am a student at Wyandotte High and I’m writing this letter to tell you about the fires that happened in the past few months in Bangladesh about people who make clothes for companies like Sears and Wal-Mart and (their lives are being ended according to some people) people are dying so others can have clothes. It’s bad conditions in the factory and low wages. According to some workers that made it out alive this was no accident they killed hundreds of people on purpose they have no real proof to show it was no accident. A man wrote a paper essay on the situation explaining how he sees things and basically he thinks it’s wrong. I believe every thing happens for a reason so those deaths would not affect me on buying clothes at Sears or Wal-Mart if anything I am honored to wear the clothing. This is my opinion on the whole thing thank you.

Dear Editor,

My name is Kejia Dozier and i am from a non-profit group. i am writing this letter to get you to hear me. young girls are being human trafficking, brothels, prostitution, cut and raped. Victims can be as young as 6 and on up. these young girls are desperate for work because their family can't provide for them to the fullest. is just not fair that these girls really have no say so, on who cuts them and if they want to get cut. some girls don't want to get cut and married, they just want to work work work. young girls shouldn't have to prostitute for money that isn't a real job. young girls body are there only pride and joy and if a man comes and takes that without permission or take that because its the only shel be able to buy food isn't making the girl feel like a lady or that her body is even worth anything. women especially young girls shouldn't have to sell their body or even non willing get there bodied touched.

When I pulled up I saw a big blaze and smoke everywhere. I saw the clouds were gray and it was about to rain. I pulled out my umbrella. It start raining teenage girls hitting the ground like water balloon full of strawberry jelly. I turned my head as they hit the ground.

I am 13 years old and I was once in a brothel in Cambodia. I was 12 when my father took me to a house one day and sold me to an old man. Before he left he came up to me and said that some day I will understand why I’m there. I was so confused and didn’t know what was happening. When he left and the old man told this woman to come and to take me to another room with the rest of the girls. There were more than 100 girls from ages to 14 to 26 and they were all naked. All the girls looked at me with a horrified face and that made me even more scared. It was really bad and I couldn’t believe why a person can do this to someone especially my own father. The man who took me was very mean; he would even rape the girls himself because he would always get drunk. While I was there I met a woman who was pregnant by the old man. She was 7 months and she told me the old man took her and raped her. I asked her why does she let him do that because she said it wasn’t the only time, and her response will always hunt me for the rest of my life. She said that she was in love with him, she was there for 5 years and ever since she was there she fell more and more in love with him. She said he blesses her to be pregnant, but what scared me the most was that she had already had 6 kids with him. I asked her how long was how long was she there and she said she was the first girl he had abducted. I then noticed what was happening and I wanted to leave so bad. The old man told me that I was ready for my first client I had already thought of a way t escape. In the house there are 12 rooms were the girls go and satisfy their clients and knew that if I chose the one closes to the door then I could run and escape. i tried many times but have failed. On my ninth time I made it out.

Dear Editor,

One day my parents and my sisters were in the car and our parents told us we were going to the city.  When we got there they took us to a building that said massage parlor we didn’t think any thing about it or what was to come. Our dad told my sisters to get out and come with him my mom with tears in her eyes screaming no and unable to stop him. Not knowing what was going on I sat dumbfounded not knowing I was never going to see them again.

Sincerely,

And the other i don't because am not the one in there shoes working a lot for a low pay. but i do know in a fact if i was in there shoe i would feel bad because from what iv'e read their pretty harsh on them. something i know i wouldn't like doing it, so i would say i feel kinda bad.

Dear Editor,
i am a reporter here to give inside news about what has been going on in India for the past few weeks woman have been dying several at a time. Word got around its married women that keep dying due to a honor killing. A honor killing is an act of violence towards women for dishonoring their families.

Non-Profit Group

Dear Editor,

I am from a Non-Profit Organization that's trying to stop human trafficking, brothels, prostitution, and rape against young girls. Victims can be as young as 6 and any grown woman and that's just not acceptable. Young girls in many countries are  desperate for work because their families don't have enough money for what they need to survive and  get tricked into being taken from their families. The majority of families live day by day and become desperate for more money around the house, they allow their daughters to be sold into brothels. More than 1,000 girls get sold into brothels. The girls get beaten, raped, prostituted and mistreated. They sleep with at least 10-20 men  a month.

80% of females are trafficked all around the world. 80% of females in Cambodia can't read or write, only 5% of females finish school. Most the girls don't even get a chance to attend school instead they go to ''work'' while their brothers go to school and get an education.

In Ethiopia children got circumcised for centuries. The mothers didn't approve but there was nothing they could do to stop them, both boys and girls got circumcised. Later on they made a Law that banned Genital Mutilation. Kids wanted an education but instead they got circumcised and married off, it was a part of the tribal traditions in a way.

I don't see how this is fair to anyone. I would just like you to know what is going on all over the world and that I want to make a difference and help in any way possible to stop this at once! I do not agree with what is going on and I don't think it should be happening to women, let alone children at that. I hope you understand where I am coming from and agree to support me and my organization in helping these woman and children all around the world. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Sincerely,

Megan Espinosa

Human Trafficking- Relative

Dear Editor,

I am the sister of a human trafficking victim. My name is Doniya and my sister Safaa is now dead because of this horrible abuse of trafficking women. I live in Pakistan but this problem happens all around the world and daily. We need to be more cautious because this industry is fast growing and spreading amongst other countries also. My sister Safaa was tricked into being a prostitute, which lead to her tragic death. It saddens me the most to know that my sister suffered a lot during the last times of her life. I wish she could have gone peacefully. During her prostitution days, Safaa had to sleep with around 10 men daily and if she refused, she was beaten. My sister died of AIDs caused by human trafficking but yours doesn't have to. We have to be well aware that these things are out there and may affect some of you who hear the story about my sister. My sister was easily tricked because we have little education, others my people who are close to them. I want people to use my sister's story as an example to something that is real and can happen. I want people to be alert and aware.

Human trafficking letter to editor

Dear editor, I think human trafficking is getting out of control it is highly rising and becoming more popular and it is happening more than drug trafficking. These innocent people get kidnaped and sold to braufles some are even sold by their family members and force to be used for sexual pleasure some the ones that refuse to do this are beaten, denied food or even torture with weapons of some sort most of these girl end up doing this for the rest of their life’s because they have no choice and are very scared that if they don’t do it they will be killed. They also end up with many diseases or health, physical and mental problems through out the rest of their life. Human trafficking is happening all over around the world. I think this should be enforced and looked into more in countries so that the human trafficking rate goes down because most of them are innocent and forced to do this.
