Dear Editor I am Chief Mello T of the fire department was the first on the scene and I want to share what me and the guys saw. We saw a burning building with women standing out on the ledges because the inside of the building was burning at a maximum levels as I look at them a group of women are rushed out the building the ones who got to the elevators I think but my concentration was on the other women. We’re screaming stay strong then all of a sudden my heart stopped and they started jumping as they hit the ground my eyes filled with tears. As we put out the fire I notice what started the fire, which was gasoline on the clothing burned by a cigarette. Mr. Editor I hope you understand I am a little traumatized but don’t want you to be in the dark on what happened.

Mello, good job talking about how you were feeling and sharing those feelings with the editor. A few grammatical mistakes but you get your point across really well.
