The Native Americans weren't the only ones who were being mistreated. Through out time people have been mistreated whether it is just a verbally, or physically. When people first came to America they were not satisfied with they way the king was treating them, so they decided to fight. Later there was slavery because people thought since they weren't white they didn't have rights. The Native Americans are getting treated similar because they aren't getting the rights they think they deserve.

The Native Americans were getting killed, and loosing a lot of land. The white man made boarding schools later, and even though it seems like it was a great idea the children weren't treated right. Some kids were getting abused, and others weren't, but they couldn't use their language or any type of native American traits. The Native Americans couldn't live in peace any more.
