Dear Editor,
My name is
Cesaria Aydee and I was one of the victims that survived the factory fire. The
fire still gets me nightmares to this day, I actually thought I was going to
die at one point but I was saved, thankfully. I’ve lost a lot of friends and
people that I was hoping to get to know. Changes need to be made, definitely. We
need to have better safety exits and better safety plans. It’s because of the
exits that were locked and broken that made most of them die & made me have
nightmares to this day. It was stupid to keep them locked. Who had the keys? No
one. I would like them to clean the place, and make the exits better & I will
be happy to help. I would like to show my love & support to those 100+ that
died. I would like to get anyone else that worked there or that want to volunteer
to help us out if that’s okay.
We need to do as much
as we can to show that we appreciate being saved and we care for the ones who
died.

Cesaria, good job focusing on the positive things that you can do instead of the negative!
