I survived the flames of death

William Maldonado

Dear editor I am writing this to you because I was victim and survivor of the factory fire and would like people to read so they can see what can happen if they don’t take safety precautions. As I was calmly working and I hear screams of a fire It made me feel scared and unsafe on things because it was so sudden that I was in shocked and didn’t know how to react all these things came to mind like death or if I was going to survive but my first thought were to look or get to safety. As the flames of the fire grew I looked for the exits but fear rushed through my body when some of the exits doors were locked and that exit scape was broken. As a survivor I think that factory’s should take better safety precautions just incase if this happens again in any kind of factory so there are easier and safer ways to get out the building so everybody can make it out safe with no losses or deaths of people.
