Women's Rights

Dear Editor,

I am writing this post with a concern about women’s rights.  On a daily basis, many women around the world are highly mistreated or abused with no means of protection.  They are at times sexually abused and raped by men.  They are involuntarily trafficked and sold as prostitutes from a young age.  These women are helpless and are unable to speak their minds because of fear.  Fear of not only men but also fear of how society will perceive them as “raped women”.  In many of these countries, women are not allowed to have a say in their societies, communities, households, or lives.  These women are basically owned from birth.  Life on this earth is unfair for women and it should not be that way.  In my opinion, a woman is a prized possession.  Without a woman a man is nothing.  We would not have been here if Jesus would have only put Adam on earth alone without Eve.  Women should have the same rights as men.
