Dear Editor
My name is Angel
and I’m writing this letter to tell you what I am a survivor of a big factory
fire. This big massive fire that killed a lot of people, some of my only
friends that I have had was in that fire and I lost them. This fire changed my
whole life around; it made me realize how blessed and grateful I was to survive
it. The fire started because someone threw a lit cigarette in a trashcan. After
that very moment it changed everyone’s life. That little trash can fire
progressed into an out of control fire. It started on the 8th floor
and just went up, big out of control massive flames. Some people would have
made it if the emergency exit was open, or even if the fire holes were working
but that’s the reason why we lost those people. What’s the point of having an
emergency exit and they all are locked. Its like those people set us up for failure
they knew what they was doing. Some things need to be changed; we need better-improved
emergency exits, stairs that will lead us to the outside If we really need it. We
need a lot of improvement period. Now that I’m older I tell others to live
their life to the fullest work only when you need to and never work in a
factory, you never know when it’s your time.
